    Description

    Interesting, old and odd Schalmei. (yes, this instrument is really called so, please search in the net!) These kind of instruments were used in Eastern Germany. It has 4 bells. It reads "Martin Signal" and "DB 77" It probably was used in the 1970 as a signal horn by German Railway (Deutsche Bahn) The instrument needs cleaning and service.     There are minor dents at the  bells.  Standing on its bells, it  is approx. 40cm (16inches) high.
